ἀποθνήσκω vs. ἀποκτείνω
I constantly get these two words confused. Anyone have any tips or memory aids or anything that can help me?

When you die, you breathe your last, the air slipping διἀ ἕρκεος ὀδόντων σου.... ἀποθνῄσκω ..θθθθθθ...θάνατος
Kill has a κ in it...αποκτείνω. ἀπέκτεινε Καϊάφας τὸν Ἰησοῦν.

I forgot about θάνατος, which is a part of ἀποθνῄσκω's root. The κ helps too. Thanks.Louis L Sorenson wrote:When you die, you breathe your last, the air slipping διἀ ἕρκεος ὀδόντων σου.... ἀποθνῄσκω ..θθθθθθ...θάνατος
