Marilyn Phemister died in January, 2012

Post by Jonathan Robie »

This is old news, but I hadn't seen it.

B-Greek member Mary Phemister died in January, 2012. She is best known for one of the first complete audio recordings of the Greek New Testament that was freely available on the Internet.

Thanks, Jonathan. I hadn't heard this either.

Marilyn (not Mary) is one of my all-time heroes. She was a great help and encouragement to me when I was first trying to figure out how to make audio recordings on my computer, and the initiative she took very early on, to make the entire audio GNT available, for free (or at cost for a CD) was extremely inspiring to me, way back when....
