Audio for LXX Isaiah

Post by Louis L Sorenson »

Hello all,

I've been recording the LXX Isaiah (Rahlf's version) in Randall Buth's Living Koine dialect. (For an explanation of this historical pronunciation you may view Randall Buth's pdf on the historical pronunciation of Koine at http://www.biblicallanguagecenter.com/w ... n_2008.pdf. John Schwandt has a quick summary of the pronunciation at http://www.biblicalgreek.org/links/biblical.php.

I'll be recording Isaiah during the next half year, and hope to keep up this ambitious project to the end, trying to keep pace with Ken Penner's reading schedule. The audio files for now can be found at http://www.letsreadgreek.org/resources/audio/isaiah/. I plan on going back and editing some of the mistakes as I progress. But here are the files for now:

Isaiah 1: http://www.letsreadgreek.org/audio/isai ... lfs_01.mp3
Isaiah 2: http://www.letsreadgreek.org/audio/isai ... lfs_02.mp3

This is great, Louis, but the links are now broken. Did you continue this project beyond chapter two?

Ken, I fixed the links. The audio (quite inferior in quality - I've got a new setup) can be found by browsing to the Isaiah folder in http://www.letsreadgreek.org/audio. I would like to re-record the first two. I never got past recording the first two, but I have more time this year. Perhaps I should join the group.
