    This seems to be one of those Aramaic words that fared poorly in
its path through translational Greek. The Aramaic qn) "Qana" means
*zealous* and the Zealot group were the Qanaim. Originally it was
Simon the Zealot, not Canaanite which was a kaph and not qof.
