Raymond Brown's NT Introduction

I don't think that B-Greek is the proper forum to discuss this book, but I
think that listmembers who aren't aware of it may find interesting the
review (by the Matthaean critic Anthony Saldarini) of Raymond Brown's new
Introduction to the New Testament which is in front and center focus in
today's New York Times Book Review. It can be accessed on-line freely from
within the U.S. (although one does need to register--which is certainly
worth doing, assuming one values the wealth of what the Times has to
offer); I'm afraid there's some charge for people overseas.

It's an interesting review. Most listmembers are probably well aware of
Father Brown's major commentary on John's gospel in the Anchor Bible as
well as of his studies on the Synoptic birth narratives and passion
narratives.
