Isn't the English rather lazy in this? (e.g. compare
aguijo'n and aguijonazo in Spanish). Without a shred
of lexical evidence to support this I'd have thought
that such a meaning would require a new coinage such
a RhAPIS -> RhAPISMA. (Or maybe RhAPISMA actually
comes from RhAPIZW and that isn't a good example?)
By the way I'd guess you know this anyway, but I didn't
so I mention it; Hosea's earlier use of KENTRON is as 2)
