I am reading through a booklet by Brad Young on _The Jewish Background
to the Lord's Prayer_ in which Young makes the claim that hOTI AUTON
ESTIN at Matt. 5:3 etc. should be seen as a partitive genitive and not
as a possessive. If true, the beatitudes containing this phrase would
seemingly mean "How blesssed are X, the Kingdom of God is comprised of
such as these". Any thoughts on this?
