There seem to be several types of lilies described in the literature-
hemerokalles- the lilium martagon
leirion- the lilium candidum
chamaikerasos- the convallaria majalis
but the word in Mt 6:28 seems to be more generic- i.e.- field flower. But
what specific kind?
