John1:1-2

Greetings to all,
I have learned much by lurking on this list. Even a little greek like me
can appreciate that the beggining of John is very poetic, and all this
chiastic structure stuff is making me a little dizzy with wonder. But is
there anything in the text itself that indicates it was used in antiphonal
singing by the early church?
Thanks for your help,
Dave Reigle
