No, you're not alone, Paul--everyone who is posting to B-Greek is getting
that machine response from Larry Ingram's PostOffice. Yesterday there were
two of those that came through to the whole list, but after that the Lyris
software evidently blocked the canned response from going out to the whole
list; what it couldn't block was the cc to the original sender, and that's
what we're all getting. I've written a message to him (which, of course, he
won't see until he returns from wherever) advising him that this device is
irritating a lot of people, and my guess is that it's not only B-Greek
people.

May I suggest that list-members planning to be away log into their settings
at the B-G Mailing list site and change their distribution option
temporarily to one of those choices that avoids the clogged e-mailbox at
your home site? That's not an imperative, exactly, but if you detect a note
of urgency about it, so be it.
