Re: Another articular infinitive

   Several respondents (well, all of them, truth be told) have said that
they thing "purpose" works well here. Could someone (either former
respondents or someone else) explain more fully then what the clause might
*mean*? I.e. what does it mean to say that the purpose of boasting in the
Lord is to seek him and to do what is right and just? I can see how that
might be a consequence of boasting in the Lord, or (even better) the means
of boasting in the Lord. But I don't see what it would mean to say that
seeking the Lord and doing what is right is *why* one would boast in
the Lord. Any help?
