I therefore wonder--is Matt. 22:14 a case of antimetabole or just
simply antithetical parallelism?
POLLOI GAR EISIN KLHTOI OLIGOI DE EKLEKTOI.

I had to look this up:
antimetabole \An`ti*me*tab"o*le\, n. [L., fr. Gr. ?.] (Rhet.) A figure in
which the same words or ideas are repeated in transposed order.
Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary, C 1996, 1998 MICRA, Inc
My take would be that the "DE" argues against it, as well as the contrasting
words POLLOI and OLIGOI.
