Enough of this thread: Gender-specific or gender-inclusive?

This thread has produced more heat than light as well as some of the more
unseemly phrasing on the list in recent times. The subject matter has been
reviewed several times on B-Greek over the years; I honestly don't think
many (if any) minds have been changed by the discussion, which tends to
repeat again and again what has been said many times before. Let's bring it
to a halt again now, PLEASE!
