b-Greekers;
There is a lot of info on the web about Syriac and much of it has to do with
NT studies. Syriac itself, as a language, is deeply indebted to Greek and
there is a historical as well as theological connection. For all those
interested in Syriac fonts, I hope the following is helpful.
FrDimitri,
Assyrian Church of the East

Here is one Syriac/Estrangelo font

SyrCom has TrueType and Post Script Syriac Fonts for both Windows and Mac.
Some are freeware, some shareware. See...

For a rather complete Syriac program for Windows, see...
http://www.syriacwriter.com/
...and for Windows and Mac, see...
http://www.linguistsoftware.com/lsc.htm

A wealth of links for fonts for both platforms can be found at...

I know they have Syriac fonts in Mac format (both TT & PS); they have
been converting their many fonts to Windows TT format recently so they
may have that available also.
