I'm forwarding this reply which I really think was meant for the list
rather than for me alone. It's certainly true that EN TOIS TOIOUTOIS is
important, but even without it, the context is clear enough, I think to
indicate that even if there was once a formal betrothal or ceremony of
marriage, OU DEDOULWTAI is concerned with present status of the ADELFOS or
ADELFH vis-a-vis the APISTOS who is bidden CWRIZESQAI.
