AUTOS DE hO QEOS THS EIRHNHS hAGIASAI hUMAS hOLOTHLEIS, KAI hOLOKLHRON
hUMWN TO PNEUMA KAI hH YUCH KAI TO SWMA AMEMPTWS EN THi PAROUSIAi TOU
KURIOU hHMWN IHSOU CRISTOU THRHQEIH.

BDAG (on AMEMPTWS), along with many translations take AMEMPTWS to go
with THRHQEIH in the sense 'be kept blameless'. Are there any parallels
with THREW + adverb, where the adverb does not mean the manner of
keeping, but rather a state of the object? hOLOKLHRON is in a predicate
position, and BDAG (on hOLOKLHRON) takes hOLOKLHRON THRHQEIH to mean be
preserved complete or sound. Is it a likely view that THREW takes two
syntactically different kinds of arguments for the same semantic
function in the same sentence? Or did I misunderstand BDAG? Is there any
reason why not take the adverbial in a usual sense, that the manner of
THRHQEIH is AMEMPTOS (May God blamelessly preserve your spirit, soul,
and body complete or sound)?
