Friedrich Brandscheid was a German Roman-Catholic scholar (died 1
August 1902). He edited his own Greek New Testament with the Latin
Vulgate (1st edition 1893?). He follows very strictly the Vulgate.
His critical apparatus (in the back of the book) is very modest. His
edition cannot be nowadays used for a critical exegesis.
