I have a question concerning ANQRWPOS ANQRWPOS in Ezekiel 14:4, LXX -- "TADE LEGEI KURIOS ANQRWPOS ANQRWPOS EK TOU OIKOU ISRAHL, hOS AN QHi TA DIANOHMATA AUTOU EPI THN KARDIAN AUTOU KAI THN KOLASIN THS ADIKIAS AUTOU TAXHi PRO PROSWPOU AUTOU KAI ELQHi PROS TON PROFHTHN, EGW KURIOS APOKRIQHSOMAI AUTWi EN hOIS ENECETAI hH DIANOIA AUTOU." Verse 7 also uses ANQRWPOS ANQRWPOS. Is this -- 1. a Semitism, possibly for emphasis? 2. a noun used as a distributive pronoun ("any man")? 3. both of the above? 4. none of the above? Also, I was wondering if the NT uses a construction similar to this? The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that resembles it is something like AMHN AMHN in John. Thanks!
