Denny Diehl here with a question I'm looking at Gal 3 where Paul is contrasting "faith" with "law". In this verse: "hO DE NOMOS OUK ESTIN EK PISTEWS..." -Gal 3:12 "The Law" is an obvious reference to the Law of Moses. Also: "KATARAS TOU NOMOU..." -Gal 3:13 However, in many places, NOMOS is without the article. "ERGWN NOMOU" -Gal 3:2 Is it correct to think that the article "hO" makes the Law definite, as in The Law Of Moses and without the article it is "law" per se? --- B-Greek home page: http://metalab.unc.edu/bgreek You are currently subscribed to b-greek as: [jwrobie@mindspring.com] To unsubscribe, forward this message to leave-b-greek-327Q@franklin.oit.unc.edu To subscribe, send a message to subscribe-b-greek@franklin.oit.unc.edu
