B-GREEKERS, My Nestle-Aland (26) text places a period at the end of Lk.9:21, which leaves verse 22 without a main verb. My Nestle-Aland (27) Greek text puts no punctuation at the end of verse 21, and the parallel Latin text puts a comma. Metzger's Textual Commentary says nothing about this passage (and nothing else I have checked does either). Should I to assume the 26th edition is a misprint (comma for a period)? And though this may be pushing it to the breaking point, could I assume that, since the NRSV puts a comma after verse 21, that this respresents Metzger's true view of the punctuation in this passage? As always, thanks for your comments. Rick Duggin 318 Kings Hwy. Murfreesboro, TN 37129 ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
