AREN’T YA?

By Charles Deemer

Gonna roll me a peanut butter ball so round

That it’s gonna bounce up off of the ground

Cut me a piece of mud pie with care

It’ll sail like a boomerang up in the air

CHORUS:

Do these things

Do ‘em just for you

Aren’t you gonna let me stay home from school?

The dishes that I broke last week

My homemade glue wouldn’t let ‘em leak

The furniture I nailed to the rug

If you forget that, you get a great big hug

I’ll wash the dishes and make my bed

Scrub my ears and brush my head

I’ll mow the lawn, polish the car

I’ll run to the store if it’s not too far
