GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN

By Charles Deemer

Christine, get out of the kitchen

Christine, get out of the cupboards

Christine, put down the peanut butter jar

Mother left me to take care of you

But I just don’t know what to do

Well I give up

I don’t care

That you're wiping peanut butter in your hair

Christine, get out of the sink

Christine, get out of the trash can

Yes, Christine, that’s a jar of maple syrup

Every time I turn around

You got something else up, something else down

I give up

I don’t care

That you're pouring maple syrup on the dress you wear

Christine, don’t break the dishes

Christine, don’t saw the table

Christine, get your teddy bear out of your ear

For such a girl with a pretty face

You sure can walk all over the place

I give up

I don’t care

That you're pulling out the eyes of your teddy bear

Christine, you're messing all around

Christine, you're tearing down the house

Christine, well I never saw such a mess

You poured. flour all over the living room rug

And now you're grinning for a great big hug

I’ll tie you to a tree so you leave me alone,

Gotta fix up the house afore mother gets home
