Camouflage Measure 31-32-33 series, Design 1F


Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for "Liberty" type cargo ships of the AK 114-123 and 129 class. Of those, USS Alkaid (AK-114), USS Zaurak (AK-117), USS Matar (AK-119), USS Sabik (AK-121) and USS Menkar (AK-123) are known to have received it.
This plan, showing the ship's starboard side, superstructure ends and exposed decks, is dated 29 January 1944, and was approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN.
