Aircraft present wear single-letter designators (superseded by two-letter designators on 27 March 1914). They are (from front to back):
Curtiss flying boat, C-type;
Curtiss hydroaeroplane A-3 (later AH-3);
Curtiss flying boat, C-2 (later AB-2);
Curtiss flying boat, C-type;
Wright hydroaeroplane B-3 (later AH-6);
Curtiss flying boat, C-type;
Curtiss "OWL" amphibian E-1 (later AX-1); and
Curtiss hydroaeroplane, A-type.
Tails of A-3, C-2 and and B-3 are marked "USN". E-1's tail is marked "USMC".
