After more than a decade and a half of work for the American-Hawaiian Steamship Company, between August 1918 and September 1919 she had U.S. Navy service as USS Arizonan (ID # 4542-A) operating initially as a cargo ship and, from early 1919, as a troop transport. Returned to her owner after that, she was employed commercially under U.S. and Japanese registry until 1928, when she was scrapped at Osaka, Japan.
