Vincent (American Motor Boat, 1908).
Served in the Navy in 1918-1919 as Vincent (SP-3246)

Vincent, a 49-foot motor boat, was built at Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1908, probably as a pleasure craft. Prior to World War I she was employed as a ferry at Norwich, Connecticut. The Navy acquired her under lease and put her into service as Vincent (SP-3246) in June 1918. The craft apparently operated in the waters of the Third Naval District, in the vicinity of New York City and Long Island. She was returned to her owner in June 1919.

This page features our only view of the motor boat Vincent, which served in the Navy as Vincent (SP-3246) in 1918-1919.
