USS A-2 (Submarine # 3) Hauled out of the water, circa 1913. Location is probably the Cavite Navy Yard, Philippines. The photograph was released on 11 April 1949, in connection with the 46th anniversary of U.S. Navy submarines. Starboard stern view, with men working on and around the submarine. Reproductions of this image should be available through the National Archives photographic reproduction system for pictures not held by the Naval Historical Center.
