newsletters

As others have commented, the download time for newsletters isn't so long
that they represent any inconvenience. The inconvenience, if there is one, is
personal. I have found that I have had to change my reading habits
regarding letters, and delete some letters only partly read. I'm slightly
uncomfortable with this- though newspapers get that treatment.
And I occasionally benefit unexpectedly from a newsletter article. So
eliminating newsletters would reduce those chance contacts which by their
very unexpectedness, are so valuable.
Keep the diversity and range; change your habits.
