Southern Regional Science Association Meetings, Savannah, Georgia,
April 2-4, 1998.
The 37th annual meeting of the Southern Regional Science Association
will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Savannah, Georgia on April
2-4, 1998. The program committee welcomes papers on a wide range
of topics including all aspects of regional modeling, international trade,
resource utilization, environmental quality, transportation systems,
tourism and recreation, economic impact analysis, urban and rural
economic development, location of economic activity, land use planning
and regulation, regional migration, labor markets, regional development
issues and policy, and public finance and investment analysis.
If you are interested in presenting a paper, please send an abstract of
100-200 words to Andy Bernat, Regional Economic Analysis Division
(BE-61), Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce,

(202)606-5321, e-mail: andrew.bernat@bea.doc.gov). E-mail is
preferable. The deadline for submitting abstracts for presented
papers is December 1, 1997.
Anyone who is interested in organizing a session, being a session
chair, or being a discussant is encouraged to contact Andy Bernat as
soon as possible for more information.
