In addition to the various plant-induced reactions and those reactions to
chemicals that may be present on the plant surfaces, there is the
possibility of induced dermatitis due to handwashing. Strong detergents
can create this pernicious condition, and in the food handling business,
one might be exposed to these agents as well.
