CARE is seeking agriculture specialist for following 2 year position

BANGLADESH

RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATION ADVISOR
DHAKA

The R &D  Advisor will be responsible for identifying and developing
applied research into new ANR program areas through Pilot projects.  The
Advisor will ensure that strong linkages between the learning in the
Pilots and dissemination take place.  The advisor will also develop with
the project team strategies for wide scale dissemination of skills and
learning within CARE Bangladesh, with local partners and with
international organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master+s degree required; Doctorate degree in Agricultural Sciences with
a specialty in Tropical Rice, Horticultural, or Aquaculture desired.
Five to 7 years of experience required; 7 to 10 years experience
desired,  In addition experience in the following areas required:
· Applied Research in  Agriculture
· Management
· Training and Dissemination
Team Building skills are also desired.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
It is anticipated that the Advisor will travel approximately 35-40% of
his time.  School and basic medical facilities in Dhaka are good.
Referral medical facilities are available in Bangkok and Singapore.
There are few security risks.
