PROGRAM CHANGE AT LEOPOLD CENTER CONFERENCE
AMES-The Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture has announced a program
change for one of the public events associated with its tenth anniversary
conference.
Nina Leopold Bradley, daughter of Aldo Leopold, will not appear at the
Wednesday, July 30, 7:15 p.m. session that will also feature Iowa farmer

memories of Aldo Leopold."
The July 30 session is entitled "An evening reflecting on the land" and
will be held in Benton Auditorium at the Scheman Building at Iowa State
University, Ames. The event is free and open to the public. For details,

..."Start doing things you think should be done, and start being what you
think society should become. Do you believe in free speech? Then speak
freely. Do you love the truth? Then tell it. Do you believe in an open
society? Then act in the open. Do you believe in a decent and humane
society? Then behave decently and humanely."
