The Sundial

Reading your body still etched
in my mind after seven hours apart
remembering inhaling your
scent and wanting it wrapped
around my waist coiling up to
my breasts and gently seducing
the doubt away from me.
Allow myself to be taken
lying down metallic seeds
settling in my back parting
the floodgates to release
the light contained within
the clock reads three in
the morning
