Re: [nafex] rabbit manure

I've always heard rabbit manure won't burn things, but am not sure I believe it.  Certainly it has plenty of N available in SOME form.  Others will probably have more to say on excessive vegetative growth from too much N.  But don't turn down a truckload, just don't put it all on at once.  Donna

Subject: [nafex] rabbit manure

Hello all
Have been given 6 pails of rabbit manure--offered a pickup load if I go & hand load it.

I'd like to use on my grapes

How can I use this- is it hot.?
Do I use sparingly or heap it on?
Do I have to age/compost it?
Thanks
