Re: [nafex] Plant Tags

Jack
I also have stamps, and can go to the shop and get any size I want to use.
plus the handy holder that holds them in line.
This would be great, but you have to realize how many trees and varieties
some have. I have an industrial design program called AUTOCAD. I have all my
property and trees drawn full size for 2 acres. But I also have trees that
are multiple varieties. Still hard to keep up. I am always out of date it
seems.

Fellow Nafexer's, I have a suggestion for u folks who have trouble
remembering what your trees are. I bought a stamping set which is
used to stamp letters or numbers into metal. There is a stamp for
each letter and numeral, and some special characters like "&", and
you use a hammer to stamp the letters onto your ID tag. You can use
thick aluminum or brass ( 1/16 to 1/4 in.) for your tags, and attach
them with stainless steel wire, and the tags will last longer than
you will. A set that stamps 1/4 in. high letters is about $12 or $14
bucks plus shipping. Hope this helps.
