Quince suckers very vigourously when cut to the ground....then can be mounded 
and 
will root well, just like apple stooling methods.

Once separated from the mother plant, even poorly rooted cuttings will 
continue to root if given moderated care....though they may not be this 
years' candidates for 
budding.
