RE: [nafex] Is grafting a blood sport?

Joe
Being a recipient of a carbon Mitral heart valve 7 years ago. I am on
Coumadin (Rat Poison or Warfarin) the rest of my life. So You know I have to
be careful. I have learned to have figers and thumbs placed as stops in case
the knife slips. I did cut to far with my pruners one day while shortening
some scions and cut through to the web between my thumb and finger just
about and 1/8 inch. Took a lot of finger pressure to get that one stopped.

Joe
I can beat your clumsiness I think. Being to lazy to sharpen my grafting
knife, and employing to technique of pulling the knife towards one's self
when making the cut on the branch, I proceeded to stab myself in the chest
through a jacket and a T-shirt and a few layers of skin. Unfortunately no
stitches so I imagine someone else out there can top me...
