BD Now! Euro food quality papers + Biodynamic comparisons = Organic Eprints

Danish Research Centre for Organic Farming (DARCOF)
also sponsors Organic Eprints, an open source library for papers
and documents on worldwide organics.

Organic Eprints

These two papers were published a few years ago in the proceedings from
Agricultural Production and Nutrition, edited by William Lockeretz at
Tufts University.

Schulz, Dr. D.G. and Koch, K. and Kromer, Prof K.-H. and Köpke, Prof. U. (1997) Quality Comparison of Mineral, Organic and Biodynamic Cultivation of Potatoes: Contents, Strength Criteria, Sensory Investigations and Picture-Creating Methods. Paper presented at Int. Conf. on Agricultural Production and Nutrition, Boston,

Of special interest is this paper that says physico-chemical
analysis to ascertain food quality correlates with picture-forming
methods (biocrystallization and paper chromatography) based on
the PFM's of Dr. Ursula Balzer-Graf.

Hagel, I. and Bauer, D. and Haneklaus, S. and Schnug, E. (2000) Quality Assessment of Summer and Autumn Carrots from a Biodynamic Breeding Project and Correlations of Physico-Chemical Parameters and Features Determined by Picture Forming Methods.
Paper presented at 13th IFOAM Scientific Conference, Basel.

And also this paper on biophotonics based on the work of Dr. Fritz Popp.

Strube, Jürgen and Stolz, Peter (2000) Flourescence Excitation Spectroscopy for the Evaluation of Seeds. Paper presented at 13th IFOAM Scientific Conference, Basel.

Quite a few other papers on organics, biodynamics, crop rotations,
soil quality, nitrogen from legumes, etc... can be found at Organic Eprints.
