Basic nutrient analysis is what you need, as well as base saturation. CEC.
International Ag Labs is a good lab, in Minnesota, or Perry Lab in Missouri.


Then do soil biology testing, at the very least total and active bacteria,
and total and active fungi. Protozoa if you can manage. Later in the summer
do VAM colonization of the roots.
