[compost_tea] Oat Flour

Regarding previous posts on growing fungi using baby or ground oatmeal

....I filled a black plastic seedling tray with moist compost and
placed it on a same-sized seed starter heating mat. I
sprinkled some of Bob's Oat Flour from the market
over the compost's surface, and covered it lightly with plastic
wrap. Fine white fungi grew rapidly. One bag of this flour goes a long
way (leaving plenty for muffins). I suppose the same would
hold for whole wheat, brown rice, and other flours.

Has anyone had experience using flour to grow fungi other
than oatmeal?

Judi
