[compost_tea] Humic Acid % in Recipe

I am interested to know what percentage concentrate of humic acid is the baseline for CT recipes that call for humic acids. In the CTBM, Elaine's recipes call for units of humic acids in liquid form. Is that the 6% liquid concentrate, 12%? I, like others on this list, have SP-85 soluble powder and so I can make a full range of % concentrates liquids. Should the teas that require humics (i.e. fungal teas) have a minimum % for the whole tea volume? (FYI, Jeff L's recipe of tsp (powder I presume and about a grams worth) per 5 gal is the equivalent of about .005% humic acid concentration per gallon with SP-85)

On the topic of recipes, is there something new in the 4th Ed of the CTBM that is different that what is written in my copy of the 3rd edition with reference to scalability of the recipes?! The 3rd edition has recipes based on 50 gal machines, but it say "Ingredient amounts should be maintained at the same ratio per volume of water as in the following recipes, even if the compost volume is not linear. The same amount of food per unit liquid is still required, regardless of the inoculum amount required which is not linear." I read this as the food units are scalable to any volume size. So, Jason should be able to just take the 50 gal recipes and multiply by 8 to get a food recipe to start with for his 400 gal tank and add that to just short of the 15lbs of compost that the CTBM recommends for a 500 gal machine. Then he can test and tinker but it just sounded like he wanted a place to start.
