It's just a different kind of air pump that puts out large quantities of ai=

at fairly low pressure. You can get them at larger auqaculture stores on th=
e
internet. I found mine by searching for "Gast regenerative blower". Sorry, =
I
can't remember the name of the store right now. Perhaps the person that
recommended them to me on this list will chime in with a source. Cost is
around $350 to $400 to get a unit that will aerate 300+ gallons of water an=
d
run forever.

Some suggested regenerative blowers. I have ordered one and am waiting for
it to arrive. Lots of air and a relatively reasonable price.
