This is a little off beat, but

In examples posted by Elizabeth Flemming Korean farmers used 1/3 by
weight of sugars with rice that had been exposed to soil bourne organisms.

However when fish heads were used the amount of sugar was equal to the
weight of fish heads, I can only guess that the high protien in the fish led to
using more sugars. Similar to how protien and carbohydrates are utilized in
the body.

In my experiments I will use 1/3 of the weight of organic material and see how
it goes.
