The correct way to request a list of all messages ever sent to sanet
(since October 1991) is as follows:

Send a message to:

almanac@ces.ncsu.edu

In the body of the message type only:

send sanet-mg catalog

You'll get seven or eight (or more?) rather large files listing date,
sender and the RE: field for every message ever sent to sanet. These
files print out to about 100 pages. Of course, you'll probably want to
look at the most recent first (so open or print the highest numbered log
that you receive). You can then request the actual e-mail message for any
of the messages listed.

For more information about how to do this (i.e., how to use this listing
of the sanet-mg catalog):

Send a message to:

almanac@ces.ncsu.edu

In the body of the message type only:

send guide

You can also access the archives of sanet-mg through the Sustainable
Agriculture Network (SAN) home page at http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/san/

There you can search the archives, or browse them.

Please contact me directly if you have further questions about using the
almanac catalog, or about SAN's Web site.
