Suzi,
I have had remarkable luck with shark cartilaqe for tendonitis. When I
feel the need, I take two tablets in the morning and two at night. For
me it works by the next day. I have a friend that is a polio survivor
and he takes one tablet morning and evening. If he falls or strains any
muscles at all, he takes one tablet every hour for a couple of days. For
him it doesn't strengthen anything but helps prevent the pain and extra
limitations of an injury. It is also very good for arthritis. It's
worth a try for you but in the midwest it is somewhat expensive. It
costs about $30-40 for 100 tablets. You can get it at almost any health
food store and also some drug stores. Shark cartilage is also very high
in antioxidants which will help your immune system. I have never heard
of anyone having any problems with it. Let me know if it works for you.
