My herb teacher and a fellow student both reported a tingly burny
sensation when they took St. John's Wort in extreme heat. There was no
visible burn - merely a weird sensation. The students' occured on her
hands while driving - the sun was directly on her hands. The teacher
experienced it when catapulted from an IL winter to the tropics. She
stopped taking it whilst down there and the sensation went away. She
resumed taking it when home again and had no other problems. Both are
fair-skinned people.
