*Support complete record-keeping of pesticide production and
trade.* The Foundation for Advancements in Science and
Education (FASE) has monitored exports of hazardous
pesticides from US ports since 1991. FASE is currently
compiling a report which will include statements from
scientists and researchers whose efforts to protect public
health and the environment are significantly hampered because
basic data on pesticide production and export is not readily
available. If you would like to contribute remarks for
possible inclusion in this report, please send comments to
Carl Smith, FASE Pesticide Project Director, by February 6,
1997. FASE, 4801 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 215, Los Angeles, CA
