Hi Folks,
	I live in Baltimore, MD and I volunteer for an organization that is trying
to improve part of Baltimore.  The general idea is to make the area (Harford
Road) more pedestrian friendly, and part of that is having trees put in.  Can
any one make suggestions as to the best way to clasify the existing species?
 (ie, is there some sort of ethological protocol?)  
	Baltimore has for years planted Bradford Pears, which, to their chagrin,
seem to enevitably split down the middle in winter.  Suggestions for other
species would be most appreciated, particularly in view of providing a
pedestrian friendly space...
