Right near your City of Cambridge is Joe Lstiburek, of Building Science
Corp., 70 Main St., Westford, MA 01886, (508) 589-5100. Joe is an engineer
and author specializing in the effects of moisture and humidity on building
structures. He has written a "Cold Climate Builders Guide..." available for
about $35, (available through his office) which details systems for
dehumidification of air intake as well as an exhaustive set of diagrams and
discussions of structural systems for workable building envelopes. He is
also available for a price as a consultant on the subject.
Many participants on this list are familiar with Joe, his teaching and
publications.
