Your message is practically an endorsement for a building technology that
has no (0) history of success in our region. Suggest that you reconsider
your position. Steve

Steve -- Please elaborate on the following:

1. I have not endorsed anything except clear thinking and the seldom
practiced habit of engaging brains before putting mouth (or keyboard)
in gear. Having sometimes violated this precept myself; who has not,
please let me come to your dojo if you have the answers...

2. What is "0" history of success? Does this mean no one has tried
it, therefore it won't work? Or does it mean everyone has tried
it and the results have been ghastly? Or, does it mean you don't know?

I think this sounds like: "where there is a will there's a won't"

3. Where is "region" for all of us lacking mind reading powers?

4. I am constantly reconsidering my position on the basis of new
knowledge. So far the evidence is _NOT_ there supporting some
massive conspiracy by the moisture gods to eradicate SB buildings.

5. Again, I am happy to take on the compilation and sharing of field
reports on the issue of moisture in Strawbale construction.
